Pan Am® Collection

Pan American World Airways®, commonly known as Pan Am®, was the unofficial flag carrier of the United States from 1927 until its closure in 1991. Pan Am® shaped the international airline industry.

Identified by its blue globe logo (“The Blue Meatball”), the use of the word “Clipper” in its aircraft names and call signs, and the white-capped pilots and blue uniformed hostesses, the airline was a cultural icon of 20th Century.
